Dorothy Hoffman Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Hoffman of Moatsville, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 5, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wolfe and Mildred Wolfe (Phillips); her husband Frank James Hoffman; and her brother Larry Wolfe. She is survived by: her children, Tammy Marsh (Quentin) and Frank Hoffman Jr.; her grandchildren, Jessica Taylor, Logan Bickel (Madeline), Mattilea Marsh and Lexy Marsh; her great grandchildren, Emma Taylor, Bently Taylor, Gage Taylor and Milton Scott IV; her siblings, Sue Bowman, Linda Myers and Alfred Wolfe (late Esther); and her friends, Bille Boehm and Kathy Younts. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Home (220 N Walnut St, Philippi, WV 26416). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
