She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Allen and Cora Dotson Allen; her husband George Dotson; her children, Darrell, Mickey, Johnny, Brenda and Ralph; and her siblings, Ray, June, James, Pauline and Minnie Ray.

She is survived by: her children, Gaynell Cline (Ronnie) of Mohawk, WV, George Dotson of Mohawk, WV, Bobby Dotson of Mohawk, WV and Ronnie Dotson (Marianne) of Cookeville, TN; and her sisters, Nancy Freeman (Jimmy) of Fairfax, VA and Virginia Hall (Jim) of Inverness, FL.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Fanning Funeral Home (4299 Coal Heritage Rd, Iaeger, WV 24844).
