She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry (Ida Grace Webb) and Montcalm; her husband Douglas Noah Gills; her granddaughter Krislin Helmondollar; and her siblings, Edgar Webb, James Webb, Frazier Webb and Velvie Cooley.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Helmondollar (Terry) and Jonathan Gills (Gianna); her stepdaughter Patricia Byrd; her grandchildren, Travis Helmondollar (Victoria), Joshua Helmondollar (Sarah), Audrie Darago (Trevor), Naomi Anderson (TJ), James Gills, Rebekah Gills and Giovanni Gills; her great grandchildren, Oliver Helmondollar and Ezra Darago; her sisters, Edna Vaughn, Brenda Shoemaker and Dollie Burns (Omar); and her close friend Dorothy Lockhart. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Homes (3431 Coal Heritage Rd, Bluefield, WV 24701). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home (3431 Coal Heritage Rd, Bluefield, WV 24701). A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens (450 Courthouse Rd, Princeton, WV 24740).
