We are sad to announce that, on February 17, 2026, at the age of 90, Betty Ann Stone (Montgomery, West Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Charles Wood and Ola Mae Wood; her husband Nicholas Stone; her half-brother Albert Bennet; and her sister Emma Ruth "Bootsie" Atha.

She is survived by: her sister Shelby Jean Capps; her son William Roland Stone (Wanda) of Omaha, Nebraska; and her grandchildren, Keri Lynn Riedell (Rick), David Aaron Stone (Gretchen) of Warner Robbins, Georgia and William Jacob Stone (Susan) of Opelika, Alabama. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
