It is with sadness that the passing of Gladys Smith (Montgomery, West Virginia) is shared. Gladys, born on May 5, 1930, passed away on September 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Perry and Rosie Perry; her husband Otis Smith; her sons, Cecil Justice and Danny Justice; and her siblings, Icie Perry, Jean Smith, Lillie Valenzuela and Vernon Perry.
She is survived by: her daughter Beulah Hemmings; her sister Rebecca Jenkins (Carl) of Paint Creek; her daughter-in-law Pam Fragale Justice Fox; and her grandsons, James Justice, Daniel Hemmings, David Hemmings and Johnny Justice. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the O'Dell Funeral Home (1301 Fayette Pike W, Montgomery, WV 25136). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity or organization of your choice in her honor and memory, continuing the spirit of love and faith that she shared.
