She was predeceased by: her parents, Elton Allen and Laura Belle Murphy Given; her husband James Ambert Grey; her daughter Patricia Ridenhour Thomas; her grandson Brent E. Grey; her great grandchild Derek Polson; and her siblings, Audrey Given, Eva Given, Mary Helen Blankenship and Hobert Given.

She is survived by: her son James "Eddy" Grey (Virginia); her siblings, Janie Landon (Andy) of St. Pete Beach, FL and Herold Given (Anita) of Oak Hill, WV; her grandchildren, Charlene Polson (Vernon) of Lincolnton, NC, Katrina R. Patterson of Lawndale, NC, Ursula R. Rhyne of Indian Land, NC and Braden E Grey (Meagan) of Malta, OH.; and her great grandchildren, Justin Polson (Kimberly), Bradley Polson (Alicia), Krystal Smith, Christopher, Kristen Fortune (Patrick), Hardison Walker, McNeil W. Bonetti (Randall), Dallas Walker, Victoria Walker, Trever Rhyne, Pierce McAuley, Jackson McAuley and Sutton J. Grey.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the O'Dell Funeral Home (1301 Fayette Pike W, Montgomery, WV 25136). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at the Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens (6027 E Dupont Ave, Glasgow, WV 25086).
