He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Delores Gail Brooks Vetter of Moorefield, WV and Stanley Howard Vetter; his children, Duane A. Vetter, II (Sadie) of Maysville, WV and Angela Vetter of Yellow Springs, WV; his stepdaughters, Joyce Mongold (Jeremy) of Moorefield, WV and Tammy Scaffidi of Edgewood, MD; and his siblings, Bradley Vetter (Patricia) of Moorefield, WV, Marshall Vetter (Bobbie) of Fisher, WV and Gail Pavan (Jeff) of Fisher, WV. He was also cherished by six grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel (107 Washington St, Moorefield, WV 26836). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
