Though Irene may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Irene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake Hibbard and Beatrice Cook Hibbard; her husbands, Alex Taylor and Roger Smith; her son Steven Taylor; and her siblings, Daphne Kennedy, Lynn Helton and Phyliss Hibbard of Cincinnati, OH..
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Smith (Jonathan) of Moorefield, WV, Virginia Hunter (Charles) and Sherry Taylor of Pineville, KY; her daughter-in-law Beth Taylor; her son Dwayne Smith (Greg Brock) of Cincinnati, OH; and her brother Larry Hibbard. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
