He was predeceased by: his parents, Garret Keith McDonald and Ruth Elizabeth Day McDonald; his wife Elsie Lynn Mongold McDonald; and his brothers, Travis McDonald and Barry McDonald.
He is survived by: his children, Rebecca McDonald of Moorefield, WV and Calvin McDonald (Gena) of Petersburg, WV; his siblings, Mary Thacker of Winchester, VA, Perry McDonald of Petersburg, Gary McDonald of Chambersburg, PA and Terry McDonald of West Bend, WI; his grandsons, Maverick, Nathan, Chandler and Matthew; and his great grandchild Braylin Kay. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
