Though Leona may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Leona touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lantz Edward Evans and Beulah Elizabeth Woerner Evans; her husband Thurmond Scott Reynolds; her sister Fay E. Butler; and her stepchildren, Patricia Dolecki and Gerard T. Reynolds.
She is survived by: her daughter JoEllen Halterman of Baker, WV; her stepson Gregory S. Reynolds of Moorefield, WV; her granddaughter Jane Halterman of Baker, WV; and her brother Karl L. Evans of Moorefield, WV.. She is also survived by ten step-grandchildren; sixteen step-great-grandchildren.
