He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Eugene Hott and Edna Florence Poland Hott; his wife Betty Jean Halterman Hott; and his sister Jean Halterman. He is survived by: his siblings, George, Warden, Harlan, Marguerite Harper and Nola Clark; his children, Julie Mayer (John) of Taneytown, MD, Ronald Hott (Juliana) of Yellow Springs, WV, J. R. Hott and John Hott of Caryville, FL; his grandchildren, Ashley Savage (Ryan) and Sean Mayer; and his great grandchildren, Easton, Rhett and Jace. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
