She was predeceased by: her parents, James Russell Nickleson and Kathleen Susanne Nickleson (Sulser); and her siblings, Garland "Buzz" Nickleson, James "Jimmy" Nickleson and Llona Mowery.
She is survived by: her husband Dwayne A. Helmick of Moorefield; her children, Shane E. Nickleson (Carla Payne) of Augusta and Alana L. Helmick (Daniel Folse) of Louisiana; her sister Burma L. Ayers (Harold) of Romney; her grandchildren, Alexis, Brittany and James; her sister-in-law Vicky Nickleson of St. Marys, WV; her cousin Rose Myers of Moorefield; and her close friend Twila Mowery. She is also survived by her four great grandchildren.
