We are sad to announce that, on January 17, 2023, at the age of 94, Barbara Scherr Schaus of Morgantown, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. William B. Scherr and Beulah Scherr (Davis); her husband Frederick Appleton Schaus of Morgantown; and her sister Mary Bell of Kensington, Maryland.. She is survived by: her sons, John Schaus (Carol) of Portland, Oregon and Jim Schaus (Priscilla) of Boiling Springs; and her grandchildren, Steve, Scott, Kevin, Diane and Laura. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Employee Fund, c/o The Village at Heritage Point, 1 Heritage Point, Morgantown, WV 26505.
