It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Sue Adams of Morgantown, West Virginia, who passed away on July 5, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Perry Fletcher and Alice Adeline Reed Fletcher; and her husband Robert Charles Adams. She is survived by: her children, Cathryn Pilgrim of Morgantown, Shari Corbin (Paul) of Grafton, Karla Hanlin of Morgantown and Jeffrey Pilgrim (Jill) of Florida; her grandchildren, Desiree Pilgrim, Mandy Johnson (Jeff), Christopher Hanlin, Christian Hanlin and Thomas Pilgrim; her great grandchildren, Bayden England and Bayla Johnson; and her siblings, Helen Clawges of South Carolina, Marion Maddox (Rod) of Morgantown and Barbara Rice of Morgantown. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the McCulla Funeral Home (770 Fairmont Rd, Morgantown, WV 26501). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
