It is with sadness that the passing of Catherine F. May of Morgantown, West Virginia is shared. Catherine, born on October 12, 1942, passed away on August 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Catherine will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Catherine by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Catherine is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Catherine’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her mother Edna Baker; her husband Frank May of Cathy's Concessions; her son Todd May; and her brother Fred Baker. She is survived by: her son Frank May (Cathy Bowers) of Morgantown; and her grandchildren, Canon, Bryiar and Michael "Tate" May.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Smith Funeral & Cremation Care (108 Holland Ave, Westover, WV 26501). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
