He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Donovan and Elva Ellen Summers (Wilson); his wife Glenda White Summers; his sister Pauline; his brother-in-law Harold Mobley; and his son-in-law Jeff Weyrich.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Weyrich, Donna Lynn Acuff (Steven), Dan Summers (Caroline), Jeanette Smith and Faye Brinkley; his grandchildren, Sean Weyrich (Vika), Chad Weyrich (Babs), Kendra Weyrich, Dustin Acuff (Lisa), Lisa Summers Gilbert (Drew), Aaron Smith (Brittany), Heather Smith Harris (Matt), Brittany Brinkley, Corey Brinkley and Jesse Brinkley; his great grandchildren, Gregory, David, Yaromir Weyrich, Sebastian, Aria Acuff, Lillianna, Maia Gilbert, Isla and Challen Smith; his sister Mary Ellen; and his siblings-in-law, Carolyn "Susie" White and Henry White. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, May 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Hastings Funeral Home (153 Spruce St, Morgantown, WV 26505). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
