Though Charles may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Charles leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his brother Stephen Townsend. He is survived by: his daughters, Arden Cyr (Nick Cyr) of Morgantown, WV and Grace Townsend (Richard Nolan) of New Orleans, LA; his granddaughter Rachel Cyr; his brothers, Lyle Townsend, Jr. (Gladys) and Andrew Townsend (Michele); and his close friends, Randy Evans (Karen) and James Riley (Niki). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Wounded Warrior Project or simply asks that you honor Chuck by lending a hand to a friend just as he would have done.
