She was predeceased by: her parents, Agnes Moon Strosnider and Golden; her stepfather John Strosnider; her husband Joseph Gentile; her grandchildren, Christopher Joseph and Catherine Claire; her son-in-law Kirby Slagle; her siblings, Marie Sapp, May Debutts, Mabel Bryner Jordan, May Etta Dills, Naomi Hamilton, John Moon, Emmett, Calvin and Melvin Strosnider; Clyde Drews.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Slagle of Bruceton Mills, WV, Sandra Gentile of Morgantown, WV, Debra Bolyard (Bill) of Star City, WV, Bill Gentile of Star City, WV and John Gentile (Heather) of Morgantown, WV; her grandsons, Aaron Bolyard of Morgantown, WV, Dan Bolyard of Morgantown, WV and Michael Straface of Naples, FL; and her siblings-in-law, Jim Hamilton and Mae Strosnider. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Roman Catholic Church (3346 University Ave, Morgantown, WV 26505). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
