It is with sadness that the passing of Daniel Marquis Frazier of Morgantown, West Virginia is shared. Daniel, born on September 24, 1993 in Washington, District of Columbia, passed away on September 1, 2026. He was predeceased by: his great-grandparent Gloria Portis; his uncles, Bishop Leon Carey and Raymond Portis; and his aunt Evangelist Ernestine Portis. He is survived by: his father Thomas Frazier; his uncle Daniel; his wife Cherin Frazier; his sons, Dontae Marquis Frazier and Jayar Andre Frazier; his mother Bianca Frazier; his siblings, Chantilly Shaw and Emmanuel Frazier; his siblings-in-law, Vernon Shaw Jr. and Bobbie Frazier; his nephew Josiah; his nieces, Isabella and Ivy Frazier; his grandparents, Terry Johnson, Thomas Frazier and Anne Frazier; and his aunts and uncles, Joshua Frazier, Roderick Godbolt Sr., Nikki and Tamonia. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, church family, and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Morning Star Baptist Church (100 McKinney St, Fairmont, WV 26554). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. In 2022, Daniel faced another life-threatening battle when he contracted COVID-19, leaving him fighting for his life once again.
