Donna Kay left this world on July 17, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Dora; her brother Dennis; her husband Ed Gerson; and her father Ken Bolyard.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hastings Funeral Home (153 Spruce St, Morgantown, WV 26505). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Mt. Zion Methodist Cemetery. During High Holy Days, her Break-the-Fast could feature up to six challahs, six pies, and 30 dozen cookies, and she hosted hundreds of Friday night gatherings, including any time we were "safe" from Covid.
