We announce the death of Donna May McElroy (Morgantown, West Virginia), who passed away on August 29, 2026, at the age of 80. Donna will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Glenn Watt and Almeda Root Watt; and her husband Larry D. McElroy. She is survived by: her daughter Jenna A. Kirchartz (Gail Bowmar); her stepsons, Lee McElroy (Jeanette) and Scott McElroy (Glenda); her grandchildren, Hunter McElroy, Katy McElroy, Autumn and Dakota; her siblings, Betty Nimtz (Richard) of Sarasota, Melvin Glenn Watt (SueEllen) and Jeffrey Watt (Donna Rae) of Monroeville, PA; her caregivers, Kristi and Donna; Randy Joe Watt (Donna Jean Lucas) of New Kensington and Luke Massey. She is also survived by many other cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM and on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McCulla Funeral Home (770 Fairmont Rd, Morgantown, WV 26501). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
