He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Ann Shade; his parents, Irene Miller and Darnell Shade; and his siblings, Arthur James Shade, Tronia Shade, Terry Lake, Willey'Junie'Riley, Eva Lee Shade and Minnie Riley.
He is survived by: his children, Chad Shade (Kristen), Zachary Wilson, Isaiah Shade (Amanda Faulknier) and Jeanie Brown; his grandchildren, Valory, Kayden, Madechia, Marianna and Ava Shade; his siblings, Daniel Shade-Nichols, Deborah Young, Sharon Tippton and Jean Massenburg; and his friend Kenny Jackson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
