She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Joseph and Ruth Alberta Abernathy Lipscomb; and her husband John Heis. She is survived by: her children, Rick Heis (Tatyana) of Morgantown, Neil Roth of Morgantown, James Heis (Donna) of Morgantown and Debra Heis Payne (John) of Morgantown; her sister Carolyn Rhoades of Uniontown, OH.; and her grandson Neil Roth. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to Animal Friends of North Central West Virginia in honor of Erma.
