It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francis Warren Dalton (Morgantown, West Virginia), who passed away on March 20, 2026, at the age of 104, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Dalton and Marie Dalton; his former wife Eileen Jaspar; his wife Doris Ryan Dalton; his son Toby Lynn Dalton; his siblings, Warden Dalton, Wanda Jenkins, Lila Deane Cain, Marilyn Dawson, Imogene Williams, Erma Dalton and Mary Catherine Willard; his brother-in-law Clarence Willard; his half-sister Evelyn Fike Dalton Kisner; and his stepson-in-law Randall Fizer.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Pat Ryan (Sandy), Joyce Fizer and Terry Bailes (Steve); his stepgrandchildren, Chris Fizer, Brian Fizer (Angie), Scott Ryan (Delilah), Heather Bailes Baker (Sam) and Stephanie Brown (Josh); his sister Charlene Sanders (Marvin); his daughter-in-law Carol Dalton; and his brother-in-law Jack Dawson. He is also survived by 11 step great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
