He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester "Nick" Murray and Ada Murray (Nicholson); and his siblings, Myrtle Goodwin (Ellis), Wanda Dailey (Thomas) and Fred Murray.
He is survived by: his daughter Beverly Sue "Susie" Murray of Westlake, Ohio; his sister Loretha Kay Rice (Ernest) of Morgantown; and his sister-in-law Wilma Murray of Morgantown. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
