He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lantz and Mabel Lantz; his siblings, Patricia Lantz Allen (Judy Daft) and Jim Lantz; and his brothers-in-law, Gerald Dalton and Derald Dalton (Gay).
He is survived by: his wife Carol Lantz; his son Michael Lantz (Teresa Tennant); his grandson Gavin Lantz (Heidi); his brother-in-law Merle Dalton (Mary Dalton); his nieces, Carrie Dalton and Liz Dalton; and his nephew Nolan Dalton (Cheryl). He is also survived by many other nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hastings Funeral Home (153 Spruce St, Morgantown, WV 26505). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
