He is survived by: his sons, George B. Shaffer (Kellie L.) of Morgantown and Thomas J. Shaffer (Melissa) of Lakeland, Florida.; and his grandsons, Douglas E. Shaffer of Morgantown and Keaton Shaffer of Lakeland, Florida..
