He is survived by : his children, April Hamilton Howze (Hamilton) and Eric James Hamilton (Amber); his grandchildren, Joshua Howze (Abby), Jeffrey Howze, Avah Hamilton, Elias Hamilton, Josephine Hamilton and Charlotte Hamilton; and his siblings, William Hamilton (Bobbi), John Hamilton (Deniece), Trudy Goff (Larry) and Diane Sanders.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Faith Baptist Church (809 Green Bag Road, Morgantown, WV 26508).
