We bid farewell to Jay L. Hunt (Morgantown, West Virginia), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 26, 2026 at the age of 74. Jay touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arden Hunt and Virginia Hunt (Pratt); his stepdaughter Billie Jo Johnson (Barnett); and his brothers, Abner Thomas "Tommy" Hunt and Arden M. Hunt, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Hunt (Powell); his son Jason Hunt; and his stepdaughters, Cindy Barnett, Tina (Barnett) and Weaver (Victor). He is also survived by six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
