He was predeceased by: his parents, Benton Goodwin and Hazel Case Goodwin. He is survived by: his children, Becky Ruckle (Bill) of Morgantown and Kenny Goodwin Jr. of Westover; his grandchildren, Maggie McQueen (Darren) of Bridgeport, Cody Ruckle (Bre Barone) of Morgantown and Hannah Ruckle of Morgantown; his siblings, Mary Ida Woods of Morgantown, Larry Goodwin (Donna) of Morgantown and Gerald Goodwin (Helen) of Fairmont; his sister-in-law Sandy Goodwin of Florida; his wife Margaret Louise McKinney Goodwin; and his brother Jimmy Goodwin.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McCulla Funeral Home (770 Fairmont Rd, Morgantown, WV 26501). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Westover United Methodist Church, 28 North St. Westover, WV 26501 or Westover VFD, 11 Cottage St. Westover, WV 26501.
