He was predeceased by: his parents, Lon and Blanche Cleaver, Sr. (Winterrowd); and his son-in-law Richard Butler. He is survived by: his wife Norma Fern Foltz; his children, Linda Allen (Joel), Jan Anderson (Andy) and Lana Butler; his grandchildren, Jess Anderson (Ryan Shade), Audrey Thompson (Bobby) and Jack Butler; and his great grandchildren, Madison, James Shade and Finn Thompson.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Morgantown Hospice, 3596 Collins Ferry Rd, Suite 250, Morgantown, WV 26505.
