He is survived by: his significant other Jacqueline Mier; his daughters, Sarah Zinn (Andrew) of Bristol, VA and Kristen Alberts (Nicholas) of Fountain, CO; his stepmother-in-law Irene Mier of Harrisburg, PA; his stepdaughter Maya Mier-Thomas of Morgantown, WV; his grandchildren, Riley Jade, James, Katie, Camden, Eden and Josiah; his siblings, Robert Schuweiler (Virginia) of Everett, WA and Zan Schuweiler (Harry Boone) of Atlanta, GA; and his sisters-in-law, Zoe Bouchelle of Baltimore, MD and Marlene Mier (Alex Escobar) of Boca Raton, FL..
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the local non-profit Friends of Decker's Creek where Jackie gardened and Mark volunteered with the Make It Shine Days.
