The passing of Mildred Evalena Fizer of Morgantown, West Virginia leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 28, 2025 at the age of 104. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Cephas Fizer and Edna Ellen Riddle Fizer; and her siblings, Ruth Ann Fizer Peters, Zenith Naomi Fizer Fabry, Helen Althea Fizer, Aaron Gordon Fizer and Peter Franklin Fizer.

She is survived by: her nephew William Peters (Cristal); and her great-nieces, Korinna Peters, Lindsey Kelley (Travis) and Jessica Diamond (Wes).

She was a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) where she held the positions as Trustee, Elder, Moderator and Teacher, served on the RSVP Board, 1982-84, the friends of WVU Hospital volunteer, 1980-86, American Cancer Society Board, Coordinator of the Reach to Recovery Program 1991-97, and was a donor of academic scholarships at both Marshall and WVU.
