He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Elisabeth, Carl Hardin and Arthur Liberatore; and his friend Charlie Stieringer. He is survived by: his parents, Rosann Hardin (Liberatore) and Richard Hardin; his wife Heather (Arbogast); his sons, Rhett, Elias "Eli" and Reece; his grandmother Irene Liberatore (Modzik); his brother Mark Hardin (Rich Buterbaugh); his stepnieces, Ali and Addie; his in-laws, Lisa and Alfred "Bill" Arbogast; his brother-in-law Robert Arbogast (Shawna); and his cousins, Audrey Martine (William), Daniel Straface (Shannon Morton), Caitlin Cather (Brian Carlson), Drew Cather (Danin) and Sarah Straface (Meghan).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dering-Henson Funeral Home (156 Foundry St, Morgantown, WV 26505). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
