She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo McGinnis and Maude Moats McGinnis; her husband William W. Buseman; her children, Sandra K. Lewis Gallagher, Kathryn R. Lewis, Joseph P. Lewis, James Allen Lewis (Shari), Pamela S. Lewis, Georgia L. Lewis and Jane L. Buseman; and her brother James W. McGuinnis.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Nicole M. Buseman and Spencer W. Buseman; and her great grandchild Noah Chidester. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
