He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Ward Sr. and Francine Ward; his sister Karen Ward; and his granddaughter Tyesha Dawn Smith. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ward; his siblings, Jack, Dana and Jason Ward; his daughters, Amber Ward and Ashlee Parker; and his stepchildren, Christina Lorenz Bolyard, Micheal Jackson, Stefan Gatlin, Jamal Smith and Karell Smith.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mt. Hermon Baptist Church (1280 Richwood Ave, Morgantown, WV 26505). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
