He is survived by: his mother Margaret Lou Hare; his wife Sandra Hare; his daughters, Christina Hare and Sara McCombs; his granddaughter Anastasia McCombs; his siblings, Charles Hare and Sandra Livingstone (Dave); and his son-in-law Brandon McCombs. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
