He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren M. Rice and Audrey Smith Rice; his sister Linda Keener; and his stepdaughter Regina Toppins. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Taylor Rice; his stepgrandsons, Everett Dane and Travis Toppins; his sister-in-law Judy Adkins (Clinton) of Reedsville; Everett Toppins of Huntington, WV. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
