He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Whitener and Mary Whitener (Fisher); and his siblings, Michael Whitener and Patty Drummond. He is survived by: his wife Elvia Whitener (Santana); his daughters, Jenny Whitener and Aylisa Whitener; and his granddaughter Julissa Uphold.
