He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Wise; his daughters, Jessica Wise and Samantha Peralta (Peter); and his siblings, Sheila A Wise, John H Wise, Jr. (Darlina), Nancy Cutlip, Tom Wise, Debra Wise, C. P. Shultz (Vicki) and Kim Larew. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.

He has chosen to donate his body to science, to help others even after his passing.
