With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ryan Michael Brooks (Morgantown, West Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 4, 2025 at the age of 38. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Brinley and Marjorie "Gram" Staley. He is survived by: his parents, Michael Brooks and Alisa Staley Peterson; his son KC Brooks; the parent of his children Claire Hern Brooks of St. Augustine, FL; his stepparents, Chuck of Vacaville, CA and Irma of Valdosta, GA; his siblings, Logan and Lyndsay; and his grandparents, Peggy Brooks of Morgantown and Harvey Brooks of Arlington, VA. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Morgantown Bible Church (1407 Brookhaven Rd, Morgantown, WV 26508).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Morgantown Bible Church, 1407 Brookhaven Rd., Morgantown, WV 26508.
