It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Ray Palmer of Morgantown, West Virginia, who passed away on July 17, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Palmer and Martha Palmer (Radabaugh). He is survived by: his wife Michelle Roberta Palmer (McHenry); his son Steven Ray Palmer, Jr. (Deanna) of Weston; his stepchildren, Adam Shane Carpenter of Buckhannon, Lauren Elizabeth Carpenter of Buckhannon and Logan Hunter Carpenter of Jane Lew; his grandchildren, Wesley Palmer, Maxwell Palmer, Penelope Lea Carpenter and Haylin Shay Carpenter; and his siblings, Jimmy Palmer (Donna) of Lost Creek, Thomas Palmer of Jacksonville, NC, Vonda Greiner (Tim) of Weston, Daniel Palmer of Charleston and Christy Brown of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hardman Family Funeral Home (730 Main Ave, Weston, WV 26452). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hardman Family Funeral Home Chapel (730 Main Ave, Weston, WV 26452).
