Steven Emmett Redman Obituary
Steven Emmett "Homie" Redman, 65, of Piedmont, WV, died Saturday, October 1, 2022, at West Virginia University Hospital, Morgantown, WV.
Born on March 18, 1957, in Petersburg, WV, he was a son of the late Emmett J. Redman and Georgiana Elizabeth (Jackson) Redman. In addition to his parents, he also was preceded in death by a sister, Cheryl A. "Cheri" Redman; a brother, Peter R. "Pete" Redman; his paternal grandmother, Cora Redman, and his maternal grandparents, Robert and Sarah Jackson.
Mr. Redman graduated from Keyser High School and was a Builder, Contractor and a former Coal Miner. He served in the United States Army. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Surviving are his wife, Laura B. (Sandy) Redman; one sister, Diana G. "Gaye" Dinoso, and one brother, Jeffery M. "Bub" Redman, both of Keyser, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In honor of Mr. Redman's wishes he will be cremated, and there will be no visitation or services. Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser, will be in charge of arrangements.
The family would like to thank the nurses at West Virginia University Hospital for making Steve comfortable during his last days.
