He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth "Liz" Kessler of Morgantown, Daniel "Dan" Murray (Heather Clark) and Jason "Jay" Murray (Jamie Clendenin); and his siblings, Gilbert Murray, Raymond Murray, Velma Jean Hart, Doris Deavers, Barbara Jean Dalton and Addie Deavers.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Mountainview Pentecostal Church. A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
