He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Hines and Lora Merle Cork Hines; and his brother Gerald Hines. He is survived by: his wife Freda Mae Hertzog Hines; his daughter Angela Hines; his daughter-in-law Joy Carr; and his grandchildren, Caylie Hines-Hanlin, Malaki Hines and Dante Brown.
