He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Skvarka and Theresa Skvarka (Kubic); his daughter Carol Ann Skvarka; and his siblings, Philip Jr., John, Mary and Theresa.
He is survived by: his significant other Geraldine "Jerri" (Majewski); his children, Mary Beth Smith (Kelly) of Glen Dale, WV, Joseph Skvarka (Mirka) of Clearwater, FL and Thomas Skvarka (Gregg Tucker) of Frederick, MD; his grandchildren, Brandon Smith, Andrew Smith (Jessica) and Isabel Kuca; and his great grandchildren, Declan and Emily Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
