We are sad to announce that on June 30, 2025, at the age of 86, Daniel William Hickman (Moundsville, West Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Hickman and Janet Hickman; and his siblings, Bucky Hickman, Mary Webster and Marian Sutter.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Hickman; his siblings, Louis Hickman (Kathy) and Christine Haynes; his children, Brenda LoVerde (Charles), Denise Scott and Timothy McCombs; his grandchildren, Nichole Dowd (Rob), Angela Alhasani (Ihab), Cassie Dougherty (Dan), Daniel LoVerde, Blair McCombs, David McCombs, Sean McCombs and Owen McCombs; and his great grandchildren, Lucas Dougherty, Skarlet Dougherty, Charlie Alhasani, Raja'a Alhasani and John Dowd.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Dan's memory to either St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org/donatetoday or the Beaver County Humane Society, honoring his love for animals—especially cats.
