With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hazel Markey of Moundsville, West Virginia, born in Corbin, Kentucky, who passed away on April 24, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Fry and Hila Fry; her husband Bernard Markey; and her sons, Dino, Tony, Bernie and Mark Anthony Markey.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Joseph Markey of Adena and Thomas Markey (Debbie) of Moundsville, WV; her daughter-in-law Michelle Strong-Markey of Moundsville, WV; her grandchildren, Anthony, Squeek, Kierstan, Dino Lee, Tracy, Trishtan, Brandon and Thomas; and her great grandchild Cameron. She is also survived by friends, nieces and nephews.
