He was predeceased by: his parents, Gale Maple and Mildred Maple (Nelson). He is survived by: his wife Helen Maple (Smith); and his sisters, Connie Burlingame, Gail McCulley, Donna Jean Wilkes and Lorain Blankenship. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
