It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Ray Duncan of Mount Hope, West Virginia, who passed away on March 26, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence W. Duncan (Joe) and Mary Madeline Wees Duncan; his grandson Johnathon Tyler-Ray Moore; his siblings, Clarence, Jr. Duncan (Buddy), James Duncan (Jimmy), Barbara James Underwood (Bobbi), Mary Sue Norment and Nancy Kay Duncan; and his aunt Opal Wall (Billie).

He is survived by: his wife Donna Rae Duncan; his children, Cindy Moore of Mooresville, NC, Billie Jo Jackson (Joe) of Mt. Hope and Michael Ray Duncan (Heather) of Beckley, WV; his grandchildren, Michael Moore (Courtney) of Beckley, WV, Kenny Moore of Beckley, WV, Amanda Moore of Mooresville, NC, Kayla Smith (RJ) of Beckley, WV, MaKenzie Lawson of Beckley, WV and Dre Lawson of Beckley, WV; and his siblings, John Samuel Duncan (Sammy) of Oak Hill, WV, David Michael "Mike" Duncan of Columbus, OH, Connie Jo Craddock of Mt. Hope, WV, Ruby Carol Swigart of Diamond, OH and Patty Logan of Mt. Hope, WV.. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
